כרטיס לאחיינית אהובה, שתחגוג באחד במאי בת מצווה.

A card for my beloved niece who is going to turn 12 in May and celebrate "Bat Mitzva".

I tried to create a cloud with no mask - and I lurved it..... :)

There is no Spring feeling more than Pastels colors, don't you think?

I wonder why the "Pastel" colors are so...... "springly"? :)

And That is the current challenge at "saturated canary challenge blog" - "Pretty Pastels".

ניסיתי ליצור ענן בציור חופשי וללא מסכה ואני ממש אוהבת את התוצאה.
הרבה אתגרים עכשיו מבקשים אותך להשתמש בצבעים פסטלים ובנושא האביב.

דרך אגב - זו החותמת שבחרתי, בזכייה שלי. תודה שניסיתם לנחש או שהצעתם....
עוד משהו שניסיתי לראשונה זה לצבוע העיניים בשני צבעים מעורבים (לא גוונים). הלכתי על חום וירוק כמו שלי ושל בתי. אפשר להשתפר, הבעיה היא המקום המזערי של מקטע העין המצריך צביעה. הצבעים מתערבבים. אולי צריך לחכות קצת שאחד מהם יתייבש. ינוסה שוב...

Another "firsty" for me is coloring the eyes with a mix of 2 colors (not hues). Green & Brown like mine and my daughter's. The problem is the tiny place for coloring. The two colors was mixed immediately. Next time I'll wait for total dry of one of them...

Princess and the Pea הנסיכה והעדשה

עריכה: הכרטיס נבחר כאחד מ "3 הגדולים" בבלוג האתגרים -"Saturated canary challenge Blog"  .

ראיתי אותה. היא ישבה לה שם בשקט, גבוהה מכולם, עם מבט תוהה בעיניים ואדום בוהק בשפתיים.
לו רק יכולתי, אמרה לעצמה. אם רק היה לי, פלבלו שפתיה. אילו יכולתי להרשות לעצמי, הפליג דמיונה למחוזות רחוקים...... הייתי קונה מצעים מפוארים. לכל מזרן. פלוס שמיכות. ואולי גם ציפית אחת...!!
ראיתי אותה, דרך העדשה! החלטי להגשים משאלות לבה. תפרתי לה. יותר נכון - גזרתי לה....הכי נכון - חתכתי לה.

מהרגע שראיתי את החותמת הזו, ידעתי שאני רוצה שיצא לי משהו מיוחד. לא עוד צביעה כמו כולם. רוצה משהו מיוחד! רק אחרי שצבעתי את הפנים והשער זה הכה בי....... paper piecing!! כל מזרן יקבל סדין צבעוני, חדש, מיוחד, שגזור וחתוך למידותיו.

Once I saw the image, I knew I must create a special thing. No more coloring like everybody else, it's something special I wanna be doing. Only after I painted the face and hair it hit me: "paper piecing". each mattress would get his own colorful, new, special kind of sheet, match to its size.
