Happy Day

Hi everyone.

I'm here. I'm still waiting for my chance to write frequently on the blog but twins, you know...

Today I'm posting a new card that was painted with my Copic markers. It's been a while...

I really enjoyed painting again after more than 12 months... And I actually did something with my new scrapbook stuff!!

I fell in love with Polish scrap factories especially "ScrapBerry's" which this lovely stamp belongs to them. 

I'm still using the clean&simple style.

היום אני מציגה כרטיס חדש שצבעתי בטושי הקופיק שלי. עבר זמן....

מאוד מאוד נהנתי לצבוע שוב אחרי למעלה משנה ובאותה הזדמנות עשיתי משהו עם חומרי הסקראפ החדשים שלי!

התאהבתי בחברות הסקראפ הפולניות ובעיקר בחברת "ScrapBerry's" שהחותמת המקסימה בכרטיס שייכת לה.

עקב מחסור בזמן בשילוב אהבה מיוחדת לסגנון - הכרטיסים שלי בסגנון ה"נקי ופשוט" clean&simple.

This time I colored the image, cut and paste it inside the card, So the image is seen through a window. (This card was colored before I sew Sami's colored banner).

"Shana Tova Umetuka" 2 - Good and Sweet year 2 שנה טובה ומתוקה

השבוע - זה קורה. שנה חדשה מתרגשת עלינו.
הפעם החלטתי ללכת על משהו שונה. שילוב כרטיס ברכה עם משהו נוסף.
שינוי זה טוב. בעיקר לפני שהשנה מתחילה.......

ההוצאה האחרונה של סמי Sami עוסקת בתפוחים. כמו שכתבתי ברשומה הקודמת - 
לעולם סביבנו, תפוחים מסמלים את תחילת שנת הלימודים החדשה (או כל מה שקשור בלימודים), ולנו, כמובן, את השנה החדשה העומדת בפתח עם מנהגנו - טבילת תפוח בדבש לשנה טובה ומתוקה, מתוקה.

אז לכל קוראיי - שנה טובה ומלאה דבש.......!

This week it happens. The new Jewish year holiday excited us.

This time I decided to go for something different.  Merging a greeting card with something else. 

Change is good. Especially before the year begins .......

Sami's last release engaged in apples. Like I wrote in my previous post - 

For the Jews - apples symbolize the New year - when we immersing apples with honey and pray for a good and sweet year.
The greeting card for "Rosh Hashana" - The new year day - has been called "Shana Tova" to bless for a good new year.
In this paper cutlery the greeting is : "Shana Tova Umetuka" - Good and Sweet year.

And for all my readers - I'm blessing you - "Shana Tova Umetuka" A good year fulfills with honey.....!

"An album from what??" And a tutorial .אלבום ממה??" וגם הדרכה"

מסט החותמות "Playful kittens" של Sami נולד גם מיני אלבום חדש, שרציתי לנסות ממזמן.....
אחד מ"הגורים השובבים" מככב בו כראש לתגיות הנכנסות בכל "כיס" של  אותו מיני אלבום. וממה עשוי האלבום, תרצו לדעת?
מגלילי נייר טואלט!!!! ותודה ששאלתם....
אז כמו שכתבתי, את האלבום הזה תכננתי לנסות ממזמן, ואחרי שראיתי שאלכסנדרה, חברתי המוכשרת, הכינה משהו מדהים ברמות על מהם, (ואם אתם מכירים את הנפשה הפועלת, אתם בוודאי יודעים שאיו לה מתחרים, ואם אתם לא מכירים - טוסו להכיר!!), ובטח ובטח שאני, היוצרת ה"פושטית" ו"חסרת הת_ת של לשבת יותר מדי על פרויקט כזה", ולא חושבת שאי פעם אעז לנסות את מה שהיא מכינה, החלטתי לחפש לי דרך ביניים. כזו שמתחילה מהדרכה צולעת ביוטיוב ומסתיימת במוחי הקודח. כרגיל, שיהיה מיוחד ולא מעתיקני מדי ...... :)

מוכנים להדרכה??

The "Playful kittens" release at sami stamp - took a birth of Mini-Album, that I just wanted to try for a while...
One of the "Playful Kittens" is the star as a header of the tags that is going in every pocket of the mini.
And what's the Album made from? Toilet Paper rolls!!!! And thanks for asking....
After I saw what Alexsandra, my talented friend, made (and if you know her, you probably know also that she got no competitors, And if you don't know her - run quickly to meet!!!!)
Me, unlike Alexandra, don't have the patience to sit so long, so I'm combining between a Youtube guidance and my fevered brain so It will lead to something new and not too copied..... :)

Ready for tutorial??

Hello Kitty!!

מעכו את גליל נייר הטואלט. עברו עם דיו בשטח הפנימי של קצה אחד

Squeeze the Toilet paper rolls. Ink into one edge of them 

 ואת השני הדביקו
And glue the other. 

בחרו ניירות מדוגמים או הקלו עצמכם בבחירה (כמוני) ע"י שילוב דף אחד בגודל 30X30

המחולק כבר לכרטיסיות תואמות בצבעים.

Pick your favorite PP or make the selection easier (like me) by incorporating 12X12 paper 

with matching cards shapes 

התאימו כל כרטיסיה וכל דף לגודל הגליל.

Match every card or paper to the roll size

הדביקו בדבק חזק לגליל
Spread some glue on the roll (pick a strong one)

וזוהי החמישייה הפותחת שלי
Here are my starting 5

בעזרת שבלונת חיתוך (Die cut) (או לפי כל צורה שתרצו. העתיקו אותה לצדו השני של הדף וגזרו ידנית)
עשו זאת 5 פעמים.

with some help from some dies (or just pick your favorite shape and trace it to the opposite of the paper patterned and then cut by hand) cut 5 papers

החליפו בטרימר שלכם את הסכין לאביזר הקיפול או השתמשו בעצם קיפול (או קפלו לבד ל-2)

Replace to folder or use a Bone folder (or fold it by hand)

פזרו דבק בתוך החיתוך ולחצו להדבקה יציבה
Spread some glue into the inner cut and press for stabilities

בחרו קארדסטוקים לתגיות
Pick some cardstocks for your tags

היעזרו בעזרים שונים להפקת צורה לראש התג

Take some help to shape the head

I created my project also for the Birthday Sketch Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

• Create a paper crafted birthday card that incorporates the above sketch that is either ALL STAMPED or uses NO STAMPING whatsoever.

I think I'll try this sketch again and I'll make a card with the "No stamping" Whatsoever that time.
